ELECTRIC FIELDS

CINEMÂCHÉ were engaged by creative agency IMAGINATION to film a live performance of the band ELECTRIC FIELDS as part of the 2021 Telstra National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Awards. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the band was unable to attend the awards and perform in person. Their “virtual performance” was captured in Adelaide on a multi-camera setup by CINEMÂCHÉ and was overseen by the agency in Sydney from a live feed shared across video conferencing software.

The RAW footage was delivered to the editors of NATSIAA who pieced together the band’s performance using the images captured from our three cameras. They then slotted the finished piece into their virtual awards ceremony.
