CINEMACHE had just two hours in the middle of our brand spot shoot to produce a complimentary tasting video for St Hallett’s Blockhead Shiraz. Drawing on our extensive experience in the world of documentary, we were able to adapt to the limitations imposed on us by moving swiftly to capture all of the assets necessary to tell the Blockhead story.

The result is a mostly improvised piece full of atmosphere and classic wine imagery. Our strength has always been taking reality and stylising it. Using carefully selected lenses and plenty of slow motion allowed us to deliver a tasting video that feels cinematic on a guerrilla filmmaking budget. Shot on location at St Hallett’s vineyards in South Australia’s Barossa Valley wine region.
